This is a good and reference manual for patients. It is
now out-dated by
recent research findings, new drugs, greater diagnostic

A great book. It outlines the history of the illness and
it's devastating effect on ordinary working people and
communities in the USA. It gives one a good insight into
the early days of CFS research and the sheer complexity of
this illness which baffled leading scientific researchers.
Mostly, it shows the great human suffering endured by
patients and their loved ones.
